EMS 112 - Paramedic Theory II

Prepare individuals to complete preparation for paramedic certification. This eight-week course includes a variety of medical and surgical emergencies as well as emergency conditions related to the cardiac, respiratory, neurological, skeletal and integumentary systems. Advance Cardiac Life Support Certification will be included. Competency in traumatic injuries include assessments, interventions, and certification in International Trauma Life Support.

Prerequisite
EMS 110 “C” or better; current CPR card (Healthcare Provider). Concurrent enrollment in EMS 114.
