PHIL 101 - Introduction to Philosophy


A survey of perennial philosophical questions and theories in metaphysics, epistemology, and ethics. There is a focus on investigating the nature and existence of God, free will, and knowledge, as well as various accounts of the mind/body problem, personal identity, the best way to live, and the meaning of life.

Prerequisite
Successful completion of ENG 031 ; OR appropriate placement score in English and Reading; OR Concurrent enrollment in ENG 101  or ENG 051 /ENG 101C .
