NURS 138 - Intro to Professional Nursing Introduction to Professional Nursing provides the Associate in Applied Science Degree Nursing students with a foundation for future classes and professional practice through increased understanding of the role and responsibilities of the Professional Registered Nurse and the current and projected practice environment. This course serves to synthesize prerequisite knowledge, and prepare students for the rigors of the Associate Degree Nursing Program and practice subsequent to graduation and successful completion of the NCLEX-RN examination.
Prerequisite Concurrent enrollment in NURS 112 ; for transfer students concurrent enrollment in NURS 122A , NURS 122B or NURS 216 .
