VT 203 - Vet Ethics & Critical Thinking


This course reviews current topics in veterinary medicine and surgery, and large animal production practices. Designed to assist students in developing life-long learning skills, which they will use to critically evaluate the internet and other reference media as a source of information (peer-reviewed or refereed information versus non-peer-reviewed materials). Emotions, opinions, debates and a brief introduction to laws and ethics in veterinary practice and animal agriculture will be explored.

Prerequisite
Enrollment in the veterinary assistant or veterinary technology program.
