ENG 219 - Asian Literature


ENG 219 is an introductory course in Asian literature written in English or in translation. Students read, discuss, analyze, and write about works from a variety of periods and social contexts from one or more of these areas: Asia, the Asian subcontinent, and/or the Middle East. The emphasis is on literary interpretation and analysis of poetry, drama and fiction. The course satisfies the college’s Non-Western graduation requirement.

ENG 101C  or ENG 101  ”C” or better.
